This experience stretches from pre‐feasibility surveys through to execution stages to “as‐builts’ and close‐out surveys, from deep mining in the rich gold mine of North west to the chrome bearing deposits in the Northern Bushvelds of Limpopo mines in South Africa.

The journey did not end here, but was expanded to the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg where the Gautrain stretching over 80km was built through using the French technologies with South African workmanship.

Mass excavations for subway stations which let to 15km of tunnelling formed part of this integrated brownfields project. a Project known for major traffic routes divergent and endless public controls between house owners and sinking a 40m deep shaft next to a multimillion rand estate.

The journey went future oversees to a multibillion dollar Greenfields Coppermine project in the heart of the Gobi Dessert. The driest dessert in the world hold in its belly one of the biggest gold bearing deposit known to mankind.

This country hosted a nation with heart, soul, determination, and an endless thirst for knowledge and experience. Five years of training resulted in a life-changing experience that any university can never replace. The experience of being an employee changed in 2013 and a lifelong dream came to life through the birth of JAMSS.

Although we worked on numerous small projects after the start‐up of the company, we came to full potential on the Black Rock Expansion Project. JAMSS went from a two man operation to a full scale survey office, running the day to day construction of this major manganese project.
